This year, ForgeLine is proud to stand behind Team USA as they head into two of the most punishing equestrian sports on the planet: Kok Boru and Er Enish, contested at the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan.
If you're unfamiliar — good, that means you've never had to explain to your insurance provider what "horseback wrestling" involves.
Kok Boru is a team sport (mounted on horseback) built around retrieving and delivering a headless goat carcass into a goal at a full gallop. A bit like rugby on horseback with the goat carcass as the ball.
Er Enish is exactly what it sounds like(?): two riders, two horses, and a straightforward objective — pull the other guy off his horse before he does it to you. These aren't sports for the faint of heart, and they're not sports for gear that can't keep up.
