A System That Moves With You. Wherever the Day Goes.

Weather shifts. Work changes. Pace picks up, then drops out. The one thing that shouldn’t need constant managing is your clothing.

Built as a System.

A good system provides maximum comfort and versatility with minimum gear changes - keeping heat, moisture, and movement in balance — whether it’s before sunrise in -4°F and 30mph winds, or a long afternoon that refuses to end.

ForgeLine Performance Fieldwear builds gear as systems that works with you instead of against you. Every layer has a job. Every job matters. Put them together and you get a system that adapts to the day without overthinking, overpacking, or stopping to make wardrobe edits.

From Next-to-Skin (NTS) foundations to FLEX midlayers, STORM outer protection, and the Utility pieces that hold your week together — this is a system built for the way people actually live and work.

Next to Skin (NTS)

THE ALL-PURPOSE FOUNDATION LAYER.
NTS is built to go on first and stay on — across changing conditions, shifting output, and long days in the field. Worn next to skin, these pieces are designed to manage moisture, regulate temperature, and stay comfortable whether you are moving hard, standing still, or doing a little of both.

We use wool for its naturally effective performance: thermoregulation, odor resistance, and moisture management without unnecessary complication. NTS is the constant in the system — the layer you do not have to overthink, because it is built to perform across the broadest range of use.

FLEX

ADAPTIVE LAYERS BUILT AROUND AIRFLOW CONTROL.
FLEX is the working range of the system — a collection of layers designed to help regulate comfort and performance across a wide span of weather and activity. Wind, cold, light rain, uphill movement, stop-and-start effort, extended wear: FLEX is built to handle changing conditions without forcing constant adjustment.

The key is airflow control. ForgeLine’s approach is not simply adding insulation or blocking weather, but managing the movement of heat and air to help the user maintain a more stable personal microclimate. The result is a more versatile layer system that supports both low- and high-output activity, extending comfort, capability, and operational reach.

STORM

PROTECTIVE LAYERS FOR WHEN EXPOSURE BECOMES THE PRIORITY.
The STORM concept was originally created for Operational Fieldwear — for static missions and severe conditions where duration of protection and survival are critical. In those moments, the goal shifts from dynamic airflow management to preserving vital warmth and shielding the user from sustained exposure.

In Performance Fieldwear, the conditions may be less extreme, but the principle remains the same: dependable protection when weather, duration, and reduced activity demand it. STORM layers are built to reduce exposure to wind and precipitation, hold warmth when movement drops, and provide the level of protection needed when conditions turn serious.

One System. Many Environments. Zero Drama.

When gear is built as a system, the day gets simpler. You stay warm without overheating. Dry without feeling sealed in plastic. Mobile without the fabric fighting every reach, climb, or awkward twist life throws at you.

Each ForgeLine layer plays its part — wool baselayers that steady your micro‑climate, midlayers that flex with the work, outer shells that shut the weather down, and everyday utility pieces built from ultra dry‑waxed cotton and British‑made ripstop that only get better with time.
